Learn lifesaving skills, get hands-on experience, and become a vital part of our community’s emergency preparedness initiative.
📅 Training Schedule
This is a hybrid course combining self-paced online learning with an interactive in-person skills day:
Before October 15, 2026: Complete approximately 16 hours of self-paced online training (links provided upon registration).
Thursday, October 15, 2026 @ 7:00 PM: Online Course Discussion.
Saturday, October 17, 2026 @ 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Hands-On Training & Practical Skills Day.

🎒 What You Will Learn:
🔥 Light Fire Suppression: Learn how to safely handle small fires.
🩹 1st Aid & Medical Operations: Triage and basic disaster medical treatment.
📋 Preparedness Planning: How to structurally prepare your home and family.
👥 Team Safety & Organization: How CERT operates efficiently in the field.
🧠 Disaster Psychology: Understanding the emotional toll of disasters and how to handle it.
