Join the Alexandria Beautification Commission and Earthingwell founder Eva Hartman for a volunteer event at Community Lodgings.
About this Event

The Alexandria Beautification Commission works to embody community values, support local projects, promote effective practices, and celebrate significant accomplishments to enhance the look and feel of Alexandria.

We will be volunteering at a shared garden space that was created and maintained by Eva Hartman / Earthingwell in partnership with Community Lodgings, whose mission supports stable housing and opportunity for Alexandria families. Together, they are building a productive and welcoming garden that grows fresh food, pollinator habitat, and community connection.

Volunteers will help plant, W**d, water, and care for the garden beds while learning simple techniques for edible gardening and container planting through Earthingwell’s community-focused gardening work.

Whether you are an experienced gardener or simply curious about growing food and flowers, this is a chance to learn, volunteer, and connect with fellow Alexandrians.

Please bring water for yourself, gardening gloves, and a hat for shade.

Limited spots available. Please reserve your spot today.
