Community Disaster Response Drill: Tsunami Evacuation/Triage Ops - Venice

Your Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is hosting our next Community Disaster Response Drill in the Venice area.

These drills will rotate around the City of Los Angeles but all are welcome even if you don't live in the area or don't live in the City of Los Angeles.

Come join your community and local CERT Team on Saturday, April 25th from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The drill will start promptly at 1pm so please be here BEFORE 12:30pm to allow for time to sign in, team organization, and briefing. The drill will end at 4pm and a 30 minute hot wash will be conducted immediately after. We expect to be out of there by no later than 4:30pm.

Location: Penmar Recreation Center, 1341 Lake St, Venice, 90291.

This drill will be conducted in person, inside, there is extremely limited street parking nearby so get there early to make sure you get a good spot.

All skill and experience levels are welcome. If you have not trained with us or even if you are not CERT trained, you are welcome to attend and observe or join one of the teams.

If you have them, bring your response bag, vest, flashlight, and FRS radio to get used to carrying your equipment. If you don't, don't worry about it.

There will be positions at the Staging Area as well as on the Teams that will be walking the surrounding blocks.
