Community Dining Series: A Chinese New Year Feast & Cultural Celebration
At Zephyr Cafe, we love nothing more than opening our doors for truly unforgettable, one-night-only dining experiences—and this one is something special. After a sold-out long table dinner last year, we’re thrilled to welcome back the incredible owner and chef of Unique Slow Rise Bakery for an auspicious Chinese New Year feast designed to be shared, celebrated, and remembered.
This is a four-course, family-style extravaganza, inspired by the traditions and symbolism of Chinese New Year. Expect a table filled with seafood, duck, noodles, dumplings, and other all-star dishes synonymous with prosperity, longevity, and good fortune. We will also have delicious options for vegan and vegetarian guests.Beyond the food, this will be an evening of cultural exchange. We’ll share New Year wishes, learn a little about the meaning behind the holiday, and gather together to usher in the Year of the… Unicorn?
Ahem—Horse.
A sneak peek at what’s coming to the table:
- A variety of handcrafted dim sum
- Longevity noodles
- BBQ duck
- Ma-Po tofu
- Steamed and fried whole fish
- And truly special desserts created in collaboration with Unique
