Suffolk County Council, Scouting America brings you a FREE event to all families to join in on the fun and learn how we can protect Long Island Wildlife. We are offering 3 unique hands on experience shows at the Seminary of Immaculate Conception Ampitheatre. With help from Sweet Briar Nature Preserve, 2nd Precinct PD, and Wildlife Conservation of Long Island, whose mission is to help protect local wildlife and promote safe animal handling, we know this is going to be a great experience for all kids from the ages 5-18.
You can make a whole day of it! After the Wildlife shows, you can join in on the fun activites our scouts will be hosting in the large fields next to the amphitheatre. Stay for some amazing cooking demonstrations by our scouts, tons of hands on activities and games to play for kids 5-18 years old from 10am-4pm, and a Campfire program 8-10pm put on by our older scouts.
