Community Day of Gardening, Wellbeing & Vibes at the Barking Food Forest

Come join us for a free, open-to-all community gathering at the Barking Food Forest in Barking Riverside. This is your chance to get your hands dirty, connect with nature, and hang out with neighbours and friends in our community garden. We’re growing way more than just food, so come be part of something special!

We've teamed up with Aspire Action of Barking and the Ripple Effect Barking Riverside Group to put on a spectacular community day of networking, fun and climate resilience activities.

On the day, enjoy a mix of activities including a community choir, drumming, small business stalls and networking. You can also sign up for drama and garden volunteering, catch some community theatre, and learn the basics of plant growing.

What to expect: Dress for the weather - sun lotion, comfy layers, and shoes you don’t mind getting muddy (hiking trainers are perfect). We’ll have some refreshments and water, plus music and fun!
