COMMUNITY DAY in the VILLAGE!

Community Day is a monthly, parent-attended experience at Lessons For Life Elkus Village, where families explore a simulated community together.

Through hands-on, choice based activities, participants practice real world life skills like communication, decision-making, and independence, all within a supportive and inclusive environment.

This is not a structured class or guided tour. Families are invited to move at their own pace, follow their curiosity, and engage in meaningful experiences that reflect everyday life.

Children with and without disabilities learn alongside one another, creating a space where inclusion feels natural, and everyone belongs.

Schedule:

4 - 4: 15 pm: Arrival Window

4:15 - 5:45 pm: Elkus Village Exploration

5:50 pm: Wallet Return and Goodbyes
