Community Day at the AAACC is a an offering continuing our legacy of being an accessible space for the Black San Francisco community and the San Francisco community at large in the heart of the Western Addition/Fillmore neighborhood.

Every Wednesday there will be different offerings all of which are free and open to the public (unless otherwise noted).

This week's offerings are:

• Model Moves w/ Mario B (for kids ages 8-13)
• Healing Through Recovery Community Circle
• Fillmoe Family Night w/ Lonnie "Poptart" Green
• Coffee and Credit w/ Alan Combs
• Burrellercise w/Brother Gregory Burrell
• Capoeira w/Brother Terry Baruti
• Jazz Masters at the Cotton Room
• Healing Through Self Expression: Liberation, Resilience and Resources exhibit
• The OpuLENS of Blackness Walking Tour
• Visit the African American Historical and Cultural Society and the current Sargent Claude Johnson exhibit
• Extended hours at Tallio's Coffee and Tea

Info: Be a part of the live studio audience for Mirror of Our Times, a local television show dedicated to highlighting Black Art and Culture in San Francisco.

Info: This is an informal support group aimed at providing c care, comfort and resources to community members seeking recovery, going through recovery and/or caring for a loved one that is currently going through recovery.

Info: Kids ages 8-13 are invited to take modeling classes and workshops with renowned designer and fashion show producer, Mario Benton aka Mario B. Participants will not only have the opportunity to learn runway and photography skills but will also have the opportunity to participate in monthly fashion shows held at the African American Art and Culture Complex (AAACC)

Info: Learn the sacred marital arts choreography of Capoeira with long-time instructor Brother Terry Baruti.

Info: Join dancer/performer Gregory Burrell for a session of his unique, low impact exercise-dance fusion. Burrellercise is a Low Impact Isolation exercise style for everybody, especially seniors, with fun choreographed dance routines.

Info: It is exactly what it sounds like. We take this space and this moment to breathe black and free outside and in the open. commune with neighbors, eat some food, listen to some music and pick up some moves from the strutters room sf chapter.
