About this Event
What if we invested in soil instead of stocks? “Inquiries into the Nature of Slow Money” by Woody Tasch challenges conventional finance and invites us to imagine an economy that honors food, farms, and fertility. Tasch argues that the speed and scale of modern investing have disconnected us from the land and each other. Through essays, stories, and provocations, he makes a compelling case for bringing money back down to earth— investing locally, patiently, and in ways that nurture rather than extract. Join us to envision new strategies for investing in local food systems.
Potluck at 6, discussion 7:15-8:30. Remotely facilitated by Community Harvest SRQ founder Don Hall.
