Covington residents are encouraged to attend the Community Conversation - a follow up to the 2026 CNC Community Summit.
About this Event

This Community Conversation will include roundtable discussions with the goal of identifying issues and focus areas for potential projects, from traffic safety to beautification and other quality of life issues for Covington residents. The first event in this series was held on August 22, with several common themes identified among the discussion groups of residents and facilitators. We are now holding the next event in this series, to further analyze and develop a project to consider pursuing.

Each table will have a facilitator to guide the discussion and take notes from the group.

Main goals for the Community Conversations:

• Providing a forum for residents to gather and share their vision for a better community
• Advancing an informed community perspective through conversations organized around the processes of deliberative democracy
• Developing community leadership through the implementation of plans for addressing community challenges and opportunities
• Developing a stronger collaborative community for encouraging the livable city
