Follow John Lynn's hiking, biking, and paddling trek across the country from Oregon to Minnesota.
For more than 40 years, John Lynn has worked as a "practicing historian," traveling the United States along historic routes, rivers, and trails. In the first half of a 4,000-mile coast-to-coast trek, he takes us along the Columbia River through Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, then through mountain passes and down rivers in Montana, followed by biking across North Dakota and Minnesota to reach the Mississippi River. Hear John's stories from the trail, accompanied by his beautiful photographs of these travels.
