Emma Christmann takes the indoor stage for the community concert cabaret.This event will take place at The Shawnee Playhouse.
“If This is Love: A Journey From Then to Now” is an intimate cabaret that travels through Emma’s journey of finding her place in the world and in the theater. From tunes made famous by Barbara Streisand and Carole King, to tunes from The Little Mermaid, A Chorus Line, Shucked and Little Women— “If This Is Love” is sure to have a bit of everything for everyone. Follow along with Emma as she takes you through the ups and downs of being a performer in the big apple through song.
Emma Christmann is a New York City based singer, actor and dancer. She grew up in the Poconos and got her start in theater through her middle school, which in turn, brought her to Shawnee when she was 12. Favorite past credits include Natasha in Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, Meg in Little Women, and Lina Lamont in Singin’ In The Rain (here at The Shawnee Playhouse!!) Emma graduated from SUNY Fredonia in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre and a minor in dance. Emma is happy to return to Shawnee after being away for a few years! Although unfortunate circumstances (tearing her ACL) brings her back, she is so excited to be at the theater that started it all for her in 2014! Thanks to Midge, my family and my sweet Will who have raised me up and helped me on my healing journey post-surgery. It is a gift to perform again.
Community Concerts are Shawnee’s gift to the community. Concerts are held rain or shine. Donations to the artist are greatly appreciated.
