Flip the script and experience a Challenger mission as a family!
Our mission simulations are usually part of school field trips, but on Monday, October 12, we’re opening the mission experience to families and community members. Gather your crew and step inside the Challenger Learning Center of Maine for a hands-on simulated space mission.
Participants will take on different mission roles, work together as a team, solve problems, communicate with Mission Control, and tackle the challenges that come with a space mission. Whether you’re the one calling the shots, monitoring systems, solving problems, or helping keep the mission on course, everyone has a role to play.
This is a family experience, not a drop-off program. Adults and kids ages 9 and up are invited to participate together and experience what it’s like to be part of a Challenger mission crew.

- Ages: 9+
- Cost: $20 per participant
- Participation: Adults and kids participate together
- Capacity: Limited to 30 participants
