Presented by Jessica and volunteers from Growing a Sustainable Community - Kinglsey and Surrounds, and Meerilinga Woodvale, this swap event is about keeping good-quality clothes in circulation and out of landfill.
1. Go through your wardrobe to find clothes, shoes, belts, hats, scarves and jewelry which no longer fit or suit you. Any brands are fine as long as clothes clean and in good condition*.
2 . Drop the items off up to a week before at a designated drop-off point in Greenwood or bring to Meerilinga Woodvale.
3 . Doors open for "shopping" at 11am. Bring your reusable bag! Drop in any time between 11am and 1pm. Have a browse, and a cuppa and chat with other sustainable fashion fans.
4 . Any leftover items will be donated to various charities in line with their current requests. If you represent a charity and want us to set aside some items for you, please let us know. We look forward to seeing you there!
*We will have a small collection point for clothing which requires minor repairs (buttons replaced, small rips, stains which can be patched over, etc). These items will be repaired by volunteers before they can be added to the swap.
Please be considerate of our volunteers' time and label the items with the nature of the fault.

You can drop off your donated items to Meerilinga Woodvale from Monday 22nd July between 8:30am and 3:30pm. Or follow Growing a Sustainable Community - Kingsley and surrounds Facebook page for other drop off points and times.
