Community Cleanup @ Redhill (SG Clean Day)
About this Event
Spend a meaningful morning helping to keep our neighbourhood clean while contributing to a nationwide movement towards greater personal responsibility and civic pride. Every piece of litter picked up makes a difference. 💚
🇸🇬 About SG Clean Day
SG Clean Day was launched by the Public Hygiene Council in 2021 to encourage Singaporeans to take greater ownership of the cleanliness of our shared spaces.
Held once every two months, participating estates, parks, transport nodes, attractions, malls, and other public spaces temporarily suspend sweeping and cleaning operations for the day. This initiative highlights the amount of litter that accumulates when cleaners are not around and helps us better appreciate the important work that cleaners do every day. 🙌
The SG Clean Day dates for 2026 are:
📅 22 February 2026
📅 19 April 2026
📅 28 June 2026
📅 30 August 2026
📅 25 October 2026
📅 27 December 2026
Across Singapore, all 19 Town Councils, public parks, reservoirs, transport nodes, tourist attractions, shopping malls, community spaces, and many other partners will participate by ceasing cleaning operations at selected locations throughout the day.
A clean Singapore is a shared responsibility, and SG Clean Day is a reminder that every one of us has a part to play. ♻️
🗑️ About the Cleanup
This cleanup will take place around Lengkok Bahru and Leng Kee Park, where volunteers will work together to remove litter and help care for the spaces used by residents, families, and wildlife alike.
Whether you're joining your first cleanup or you're a regular volunteer, everyone is welcome! 🤗 Bring your friends, family, colleagues, or come solo and meet others who care about creating cleaner and more liveable neighbourhoods.
