The U.S. Constitution guarantees certain freedoms to all persons living in America. Sometimes the government restricts freedoms on the basis of public safety, national security, community interests, and the like. Accordingly, how do we respond individually when personal freedoms collide?Please join us in civil conversations about the balancing of the exercise of personal freedoms, including issues such as:
Prayer in Public School
Private Religious School Vouchers
Flag Desecration
Sidewalk Chalking
Fireworks and Noise Restrictions
Firearms Restrictions
Vaccine and Masking Mandates
Government Use of Private Data
Short rounds of small group dialogues will be hosted in a café setting with relaxing music and complimentary finger food and beverages. The goal is for new learnings and ideas to emerge from an evening of good-humored socializing and communicating.
The organization and facilitation of the evening are based on the international successes of The World Cafe model to enhance civil conversations. While the event is free of charge, we ask that registrations be made no later than the end of the business day on Monday, October 20, 2025.
