Community Bike Fix-It Day: Give a Bike, Change a Life!Description:
Ever wondered what to do with that old bike in the garage? Or looking for a way to give back using your hands?
Join us at Brecksville UMC (the big brick church on Brecksville Square) for our monthly Bike Repair Morning! We take donated bikes, tune them up, and get them back on the road for neighbors in need of reliable transportation and kids in need of some outdoor fun.
No experience? No problem! If you can pump a tire, grease a chain, or even just help us organize parts, we have a spot for you. Our Bike Fix It Team will guide you through everything. It’s an atmosphere of "joyful gathering" where we work together, learn new skills, and make a real difference.
What we do:
✅ Replace pedals & inflate tires
✅ Grease chains & check brakes
✅ Disassemble bikes for parts
✅ Build community and share a few laughs!
When: Saturdays from 9 am to noon
Dates: Mar 21 | Apr 18 | May 16 | June 13
Where: Brecksville UMC's Fellowship Hall (the big room on the ground floor. Ample ground level parking from route 21 - across from the Starbucks/Hallmark/Beyond Plaza.)
