Community Auditions: A Christmas Carol + You Can’t Take It with You ✨

If you’ve been looking for a creative home, we hope you’ll come introduce yourself! We are auditioning for the next two community productions:
YOU CAN’T TAKE IT WITH YOU
On stage Sept. 18–27, 2026
The Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy about the gloriously eccentric Sycamore family anchors PaperMap’s second multigenerational community production, where seasoned performers and first-timers share the stage.
A CHRISTMAS CAROL
On stage Nov. 13–Dec. 13, 2026, community production
(Dark Thanksgiving week)
PaperMap premieres a brand-new adaptation of the Dickens classic, rooted in the original text and staged up close with live carols, a unique focus on Marley’s last act to help Scrooge see that it’s never too late to change for the good, and a lantern-lit finale.
Wondering what the auditions are like?
Relaxed.
You’ll spend a little time reading from the script, possibly with other auditioners, chat with the Director, Richie, and have the chance to explore a few different characters if time allows. There’s no panel behind a long table (Nobody is trying to stump you.) We’re simply getting to know one another while beginning to imagine the company that will tell these stories together. 🙂
Submit a form to let us know you are joining in person, or to submit a video online! ✨
