About this Event
There are moments when creating becomes a way of listening—of gathering fragments, textures, and memories, and allowing them to find their own form.
At Copperbridge Foundation, we invite you to a hands-on collage workshop led by Lola Heasley, Park Naturalist at Enchanted Forest. Rooted in observation and a deep connection to the natural environment, this session opens a space to slow down, to notice, and to create from intuition.
For over two decades, Lola has cared for and shared the living landscape of the Enchanted Forest—an environment she inhabits not only as a naturalist, but as a guide between people and place. Her artistic practice moves in that same spirit: attentive, layered, and in conversation with the world around her. Through her work and teaching, she invites others to rediscover a sense of wonder, and to see creation as an extension of that relationship.
Through layering, cutting, and assembling, participants will engage with collage as a living process—one that reflects how we see, remember, and make sense of what surrounds us.
Presented as part of our Spring Program: Art, Cinema & Community, and in dialogue with the exhibition No Seasoning, this gathering extends an invitation to approach creativity as something open, accessible, and shared.
No experience is needed—only the willingness to explore.
All materials will be provided, and participants are warmly encouraged to bring their own papers, images, or found materials that carry personal meaning.
Space is limited and RSVP is strongly recommended.
