Community ART - Clay Spiral Bowls

Second Saturday at Art Space 🎨

Second Saturdays - We are excited to share our Second Saturday Community Art Schedule. If you are new to Second Saturdays, it's a neighborhood market in Downtown Pacifica (Palmetto Ave, Francisco Blvd and Beach Blvd).

You are invited to join us at Art Space for an easygoing day of art, clay, and community. Our doors are open for you to wander the studio, watch work take shape, and experience the rhythm of making in real time. Second Saturday is for everyone, all ages welcome. Come slow down, get inspired, and enjoy art where it’s made.

This March, Second Saturday is all about making with clay. Join us as we create spiral bowls in clay. Using coils we will shape a bowl and then smooth the inside to leave a complex texture on the outside while seeing simplicity on the inside. Art Space on the Coast will then fire the bowls to bisque and add a glaze before firing a second time. The bowls will be food safe.

Cost is $44 and you will have enough clay to make a cereal sized bowl. All tools, firing and glaze is included.
