Join Rhianna in celebrating the inspiring legacy of Mary Swain Wagner, an early 20th-century entrepreneur, and a trailblazer and advocate for women's rights.
Thirteen years ago, we opened our doors in the historic Wagner Inn, a space originally created by Mary in 1902 as a haven for business, conversation, and community. Mary, who served as president of the American Suffragettes in 1911, welcomed Vassar College women and fellow suffragists to this very place, rallying for change and equality.
Her words, captured in her 1917 book The Life of an Innkeeper, continue to resonate deeply with Rhianna's own journey as a business owner. We invite you to join us as we explore her powerful story and reflect on our shared path in this timeless space.
