Event DetailsJoin us in celebration as we welcome our new drum at the Communal Drum Birthing Ceremony on Sunday, June 28th, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the First Metaphysical Church.
About the Ceremony.
Native American drumming celebrations are deeply spiritual, cultural, and communal events that connect participants to heritage, ancestors, and the natural world. Through the power of drumming, participants embark on a journey of healing, restoration, and balance, guided by the spirits of their ancestors.
Our ceremony encourages participation and engagement from the community, so we invite everyone to help us celebrate.
What to Expect
The ceremony will include two guest speakers: Ool Pardi and Dave Phaneuf, a blessing of the drum by Reverend Kelly Bailey, a community drum circle with our new drum, and a potluck to close the gathering.
Extra drums will be available for the public to use for the drum circle or you can bring your own.
