Common-Unity Night Hike - Bringing Our Community Together For Mental Health

This is a powerful night hike event NOT TO BE MISSED!

Are you passionate about mental health? Can you and your family, company or organisation support us in a powerful movement to light up the sky around Dovestones Reservoir and Shine a Light on Mental health to mark the launch of our "Common Unity" initiative.

We believe for a community to "Live Great" there needs to be common-unity, therefore we invite you to come together for this amazing cause.

Our aim is to create a ring of torch lights and headlights shining brightly around Dovestones, holding space for those lost to suicide whilst creating a powerful symbol of our hope, love and support for all of those who are in times of struggle.

Join our family-friendly night hike aimed at connecting local mental health organisations with the community. Enjoy the beauty of nature under the stars, meet representatives from local support services, and connect with others who care about mental wellbeing.

With plenty of opportunities for conversation and connection, this event promises to be a fun and meaningful way to promote a healthier, more connected community.

📆 Event Details:

• Date: Saturday 25th December 2024
• Location: Dovestones, Saddleworth
• Meeting Point: Dovestones Carpark
• Meeting Time: 5:30pm
• Distance: Approx 3k, 2 hours
  

👣 Intensity:
A fairly simple walk and fairly flat, suitable for all fitness levels - there are some gates and large puddles during winter on the pathway so although it is pram/wheelchair friendly please bare this in mind. This is a relaxed walk to be taken at your own pace with plenty of support from our amazing volunteers.

🚗 Parking:
There is parking available on Dovestones Carpark.

🎟️ Tickets:
Please have your ticket QR codes ready, due to the nature of this event tickets will be scanned by our volunteers on arrival, your support to keep things smooth is appreciated.
