The word ‘courage’ comes from the old French word cœur meaning ‘heart.’ So ‘courage’ is the measure of your heartfelt participation in the world… (David Whyte). Some humans are world stage heroes, most of us are challenged to rise to common acts of courage. There are dozens of ordinary acts of bravery we embody every day! A panel of Kelowna Unitarians will share how courage, ordinary and extraordinary, has stepped forward in their lives.
Presenter: Brave KU Speakers // Worship Associate: Jane Vallentyne and Marilyn Raymond

ABOUT KELOWNA UNITARIANS
Kelowna Unitarians is a liberal, religious, spiritual community; we take seriously our commitment to a free and responsible search for truth and meaning. We welcome, recognize and celebrate the inherent worth and dignity in ourselves and each other, regardless of all the ‘isms’ that might divide us. We are a designated ‘Welcoming Community’ which means we intentionally work to make this a safe place for the LGBTQ2SI+ community. We are brave, curious, and compassionate thinkers and doers. We are diverse in faith, history and spirituality but are aligned in our desire to make a difference for the good.
