The City of Wilmington is excited to invite you to a Focus Group Meeting to discuss the establishment of a certified commercial kitchen at the MLK Community Center (401 S. 8th Street). This initiative aims to provide economic opportunities for low to moderate-income individuals by offering workspace, business training, and networking opportunities for culinary start-ups and those interested in food ventures and careers. Additionally, it will serve as a hub for nutrition education and healthy meal preparation for our community members in need.We value your expertise and input as an area partner or health-based organization in shaping this project to best serve Wilmington residents.
