Commercial Acceleration Session

Hull City Council are running ‘Invest Hull – Supporting Business Growth Programme’, funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

One element of the programme is companies can access funded advisory support for sales and commercial development.

Businesses can access up to £1,000 of funded support to improve their business development approach

The session is practical focused on three areas:

1. Selling capability and how confidently opportunities are pursued
2. clarity of the offer and how it is communicated
3. definition of the target client base

Each business would receive a short diagnostic summary together with a simple commercial action plan so they leave with something tangible rather than just advice.

How it works:

1. Business fills out a form

2. Council approves them into the programme

3. An advisor assigns support

4 . Funding can then be used for Sales Acceleration Diagnostic and Commercial Action Plan
