Coming Outside
About this Event
Coming Outside
Get ready to enjoy some fresh air and good vibes at Coming Outside!
The Queer Joy Movement is honoured to be able to use this beautiful enclosed area of Earlham Woods for our summer social. This is an in-person event where you can hang out, meet new people, join in with an outdoor yoga class (suitable for all levels), relax with a nature meditation, or get crafty with our suncatcher creation session!
Getting there:
We will meet in the carpark at Norwich City Academy at 2pm and walk to the woods together - please turn up on time so we can head over together! If you turn up late, we cannot come back and get you in as the venue space is within school grounds and we can only make one trip there and back.

What to bring:
You aren't required to bring anything, but if you like, you might choose to bring: a hammock to set up amongst the trees (some are available on site), blankets and/or picnic blankets to make a private space just for yourself, journal for reflection during yoga and meditation, beads that you like for the suncatcher craft session, and any snacks and drinks you enjoy!
Accessibility:
There are no bathrooms on site. The venue ground is flat and is accessed via paving and a school field. The woodland itself has dirt paths that may be accessible for some wheelchairs (photos available on request), and to those using walking aids with due care. There are nettles and chestnut trees so sensible clothes and footwear are recommended.
