Three years in, and the tradition only gets louder.
Coming Home is the annual gathering of the Bama State Theatre family — alumni, students, and everyone who ever called that stage, that department, or that community their own. Each year, we come back to celebrate the bonds built inside the program, reconnect with the people who shaped us, and show up for the generation still doing the work.
This year, we're back for Game Day — Bama State vs. FAMU — with a full-day premium tailgate experience and the kind of energy only this community can bring.
What to expect:
🎤 Friday, October 9 — Kick off the weekend with a student-alumni meet-and-greet and a professional development session led by industry insiders. Real talk, real connections, real tools for working artists.
🎉 Saturday, October 10 — The main event. Full-day tailgate with premium setup, DJ, photobooth, food, and an entire community of theatre alumni who get it.
Whether you graduated last year or twenty years ago, your seat at this tailgate has always been here. Come back to the people, the memories, and the place that made you.
