The Superscript Comic Book Club is a monthly book discussion group, hosted at Superscript Comics and Games. This event is free, and requires only that participants attend with a willingness to respectfully discuss or listen to discussion about the selected book.
This month's selection is the Eisner and Ignatz Award-winning This One Summer
This One Summer a coming of age story about two teenage friends, Rose and Windy, during a summer in Awago, a small beach town. Rose and Windy discover themselves and their sexuality while battling family dynamics and mental disabilities.
Participants that attend 2 or more book clubs may select a book for discussion at a future book club. Selections are subject to the approval of the store.
