Comfort Measures for Birth

IN-PERSON

This hands-on class is designed for expectant parents and their support partners to learn practical ways to make labor more comfortable and empowering.

• Date: Every second Saturday of the month
• Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Together, you’ll explore:

• Effective labor positions to encourage progress and ease discomfort.
• Hands-on techniques such as massage, counterpressure, and touch for relaxation.
• Partner support skills to help the birthing person feel confident, cared for, and understood.
• Breathing and focus strategies to stay calm and centered during each stage of labor.

Through live demonstrations and guided practice, you and your support person will gain the confidence and skills to work as a team during birth. You’ll leave feeling prepared, connected, and ready to welcome your baby with comfort and support.
