Looking for a welcoming space for healing, joy, and creativity? Join Comfort Creation, a day of artistic expression, community care, and rest. This small-to-medium-sized event is designed to be a relaxing, nurturing space where you can explore healing workshops, shop with local vendors, and enjoy performances that center authentic creativity and expression.

What to Expect:
🌞 12 PM – 5:30 PM: Family-friendly workshops, interactive art, and local vendors.
🌙 5:30 PM – 9 PM: Adult-friendly open mic, performances, and community conversations.
💫 All Day: A Zen Room for relaxation, grounding, and introspection.

Info: Lauryn Hill’s iconic album is a journey of self-discovery, love, and social consciousness—this workshop invites you to explore your own. Through guided prompts and creative exercises, we’ll craft poetry that reflects our identities, challenges, and growth. Whether you're new to poetry or a seasoned writer, come with an open heart and a willingness to explore.

Age Recommendation: 16+ (family-friendly but geared toward mature themes)

About the Artist:
Lani is a multidisciplinary creative vessel and teaching artist weaving stories through writing, visual art, and beyond. Rooted in Southern culture, curiosity, and love for family, their work is powerful and deeply authentic. A member of the Bull City Slam Team, Lani was recently part of The Beautiful Project’s inaugural Nikki’s Table Poetry Cohort.

Through sound, movement, and guided meditation, we’ll connect with our divine essence and inner child, grounding ourselves in authentic expression. Led by Maxine Eloi, with a live soundscape by Molefi Ramos, this session invites you to envision a future full of love, abundance, and possibility. Participants will create art or collages to take home—visual reminders of the world they wish to cultivate for themselves and their communities.

Open to all—no art experience needed.
