Comedy Nerdz: The Pre-Show Hang with Punchlines & Personality: Starts at 5:30pm!Before the mic turns on and the spotlight hits, Comedy Nerdz invites fans into the unofficial green room. It’s a pre-show happy hour where comedy lovers get to sip, chat, and vibe with one or more of the night’s performers—before they hit the stage.
It’s relaxed, unfiltered, and unexpectedly hilarious. No pretension. Just pre-show banter, behind-the-scenes stories, and the kind of awkward charm you won’t find once the show starts.
The Open Mic will be a comedy cavalcade as we present the current rising stars in the Detroit Metro area and beyond. You will see a variety of comedians from beginners trying their hand at comedy (sometimes they are the funniest) to established comics unveiling new material to the occasional comedian auditioning to perform at the Comedy Showcase. Anything can happen as we present this uncensored cacophony of comedy. …and a good time will be had by all!
