About this Event
April 11! Cozy Comedy presents co-headliners Cara Rosellini & Mary Lou Gamba! Two hilarious coheadliners in one fantastic show! Cara and Mary Lou will be rejoined by returning Cozy Comedy host Marcus Moreno!
Mary Lou Gamba is an East Coast transplant happily nestled in the Pacific Northwest. A middle aged teenager and delightfully dirty bird, Mary Lou will get you laughing til you snort with her charming and silly exaggerations of her goofy life.
As a regular opener for national headliners, this pint-sized dynamite burns down comedy clubs, bars, and locker rooms all over the country. Mary Lou has been featured at HBO’s Women in Comedy Festival, The Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival and competed in the 2017 Seattle International Comedy Competition. Watch out, she’ll steal your chicken
Cara Rosellini is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer who began her career in Los Angeles before moving to Seattle with her family to continue performing and creating. She started in the LA open mic scene and worked her way up to performing in clubs up and down the West Coast, including the Hollywood Improv, Laugh Factory, Comedy Store, Rooster T. Feathers, and Tacoma Comedy Club. Cara has competed twice in the Seattle International Comedy Competition and is a regular at Club Comedy Seattle and Laugh’s Comedy Club. In addition to comedy clubs, she performs at corporate events, churches, breweries, living rooms—and once even performed a set in the back of a van.
As an actor, Cara has appeared in several stage productions, including Collected Stories by Donald Margulies and That May Well Be True by Jay Reiss. She starred in the short film Three Sides, which won Best Short at the Columbia Gorge International Film Festival. Since returning to Seattle, she has written, produced, and starred in three short films that screened at festivals including the Blue Whiskey Film Festival in Chicago, Local Sightings Film Festival at Seattle’s Northwest Film Forum, and the Freehold Film Festival. She continues to act in film and commercials while writing and producing projects inspired by the humor—and occasional challenges—of everyday life.
