Pat Smith (Opener)
Pat Smith has a unique talent for finding humour in everyday life. His quick-witted approach to storytelling brings to life his day-to-day experiences in a way that is both relatable and hilarious. From lighthearted jokes about his own appearance to the antics of his daily routine, Pat weaves a tapestry of comedy that’s sure to leave audiences in stitches. And let’s not forget his wife, who’s always ready to keep him in check—because what’s comedy without a loving critic at home, right?
Pat’s knack for humour and his gift for making audiences laugh has earned him accolades and recognition in the comedy world. He’s set to begin filming a comedy special for Ustreme in July 2024, which is guaranteed to be a laugh riot. Although the release date is yet to be announced, fans of Pat’s quick humour and sharp delivery will want to mark their calendars.

Ricky Balshaw (Headliner)
Ricky Balshaw, a comedian and Paralympic, World, and European Championship dressage medallist, is a rising star in the UK comedy scene. Born with cerebral palsy, Ricky began riding at age 4 as part of his physiotherapy and joined the British Paralympic dressage team at 14, becoming the youngest member of the senior team.
Ricky’s comedy, known for its upfront and personal style, has earned him accolades such as Best New Act at the 2021 Midlands Comedy Awards. He reached the semi-finals of the 2021 BBC New Comedy Award, with appearances on BBC One and BBC Three. He has performed at prominent venues and festivals including Just The Tonic, Glee, Leicester Comedy Festival, Brighton Fringe, The Comedy Crate, and Hot Water Comedy Club.
A brilliant joke-smith and storyteller, Ricky captivates audiences with his self-deprecating humor and darkly hilarious perspectives, making him one of the funniest Paralympic Dressage medallists in the world. Additionally, Ricky has served as a pundit for Channel 4 during the Paralympics in London, Rio, and Tokyo.
Carl Jones (MC)
Since starting out on the circuit in 2011, Carl Jones has become one of the most sought after acts in the Midlands.
Winning a handful of new act competitions and reaching the finals of the BBC New Comedy Awards in his first few years on the stage, he’s also a prolific contributor to some of the UK’s biggest sketch and comedy shows.
Blending a mix of hilarious storytelling with warm and quick-witted audience interactions, the award-winning host of hit podcast When Football Began Again is sure to enhance any lineup.
Away from the stage, Carl is a regular contributor to BBC Radio’s comedy output and his writing has been heard on Newsjack, The Show What You Wrote and, most recently, as a writer on national institution, The News Quiz on BBC Radio 4.

Geoff Alderman (Middle)
Geoff has been a stand up comedian for several years. He specialises in one liners and has written material for the BBC show Newsjacks.
He has appeared in a very well-received solo show and recently reached the final of Old Comedian of the Year. He was joint third in the very first Dave’s UK Pun Championships and has also appeared in the semi-finals of So You Think You’re Funny. He has also reached the semis of the Leicester Square comedy competition and the Old Comedian of the Year.
