Headliner – Jay Yoder
-Jay is an accomplished comedian, podcaster, and content creator whose mix of heart, humor, and hard-earned perspective has earned him stages across the country and millions of views online. A standout performer on the Bored Teachers Comedy Tour, Jay has brought laughter to thousands with sold-out shows nationwide. He’s a regular at Soul Joel’s Comedy Club, a semifinalist for Magooby’s Comic of the Year (2023), and the winner of Explore DE’s March Laughness Tournament (2022).
He’s also appeared in top-tier comedy festivals including the Vermont Comedy Festival, Portland Comedy Festival, and the Good Karma Comedy Festival. As a podcaster, Jay is the co-host of Teachers Off Duty: Season 4—which charted at #4 on Apple Podcasts—and the creator/host of Seriously, Dad?, where he tackles fatherhood, teaching, and life’s hilarious curveballs with honesty and wit.
Whether he’s doing late-night club sets, family-friendly fundraisers, or speaking to schools and corporate audiences about teacher burnout, inclusion, or parenting children with disabilities, Jay adapts with ease. He’s a true Renaissance Man of Comedy—clean when it counts, edgy when it’s earned, and real every time.
Kirk Griffiths
-Kirk wishes that he was a magician, but that neither here nor there. With over 10 yrs of experience, Kirk is a stand up comedy instructor and has worked with a variety of national headliners such as Mike Birbiglia, Jordan Carlos, and Kyle Kinane. Stop reading this bio and go see him live!
Mike O’Donnell
-Mike hails from central Pennsylvania and regularly hosts comedy shows and open mics at The Harrisburg Comedy Zone. He’s the winner of the 2025 NEPA’s Funniest Competition and prefers his bio’s to be direct and to the point.
Karen Schwarz
-Karen is a Philadelphia area comedian that enjoys sharing her standout moments as a public school teacher for 27 years. She also awkwardly over shares her experience as a divorced, menopausal mom of two young adults. Karen has been on Sirius XM Roku TV, and stages along the east coast from Punchline Philadelphia to Side Splitters in Tampa. You can see her regularly as one of the hosts at Soul Joel’s in Pottstown, PA.
Joey Tepedino
-Joey is an Allentown based comic. A man’s man at heart and a homeless child on the outside, Joey puts the gay in “Don we now our gay apparel.” If you’re lucky enough to witness one of his performances, you’ll understand completely how this bio accurately describes what you’ll end up getting.
Host – Jake Bermel
-Jake is a Scranton native who has performed all over from NEPA to the Lehigh Valley. An adult confined to a boyish body, his abruptness and charm distract audience members from a laundry list of flaws and inconsistencies. He's (somehow) had the privilege of opening for legendary comics like Jim Florentine, Rich Vos and Louis C.K.
