Nobody should have to walk into a church alone. So let's take that part off the table. 🩷

Come find me by the couches on the left, and we'll walk in and sit together. You won't have to figure out where to go, or wonder where to sit, or do any of it by yourself. Come as you are because I trust Jesus to do the rest.

How I ended up here ✨

I used to drive an hour to Watermark in Dallas every week. Then I heard God ask me, "Don't you think I'm doing good things near you?"

I tried five churches in December, got overwhelmed, and quit. On Easter, I heard the exact same thing again. So I made Him a deal — I'd listen to sermons on YouTube, and if a church was actually teaching the Bible and not just somebody's interpretation of it, that's where I'd go. Not what I think. What He thinks.

That's how I found Hulen Street and Pastor Wes. It's been an answered prayer, and I'm still a little giddy about it. That's most of why this page exists.

Who you'd be sitting next to 👋🏽

I am a 30 yr old latina data anlyst with two dogs and two cats living in Fort Worth since 2020, and I love it here — Italian at Prima's, chicken tikka at Maharaja, pho at Khanh's, conchas at Don Goyo, chai at Cherry, the Burleson Farmers Market, late-night tea room in South Side, and Weatherford, which still feels like a little vacation every time.

Where I stand 🌸

I also fell headfirst into theology and apologetics (those are big words for Elmo 🤭) somewhere along the way. It's going to take a lifetime, and I'm not sure I'll ever earn the title. But here's what it means for you: you can bring me the question you've been wrestling with, I'll pray for the Holy Spirit to show me, and you will never get a cookie-cutter answer from me.

I'm a data analyst — my whole job is chasing what's actually true. I hold the Bible to that same standard because there's no soft middle option here. It is either 100% from God, the Creator of the universe, or it is not. It doesn't get to be a nice book of suggestions. I've studied it that way, hard, and it remains the most unexplainably perfect book I have ever read.

I don't think faith and science are on opposite sides of anything, either. So much of what keeps getting uncovered makes the story of God more astonishing to me, not less.

Mostly, I want somewhere for my friends who have found their own way to be a good person, aren't religious, or who were Christians once and walked away. I'd rather sit with someone and hear their concerns than win an argument.

What you don't have to do 🎁

Say the right words. Dress a certain way. Have read the Bible before. Believe it all yet.

I will never tell you your salvation is lost over the music you listen to or the books you read. I don't believe that. Church, reading the Bible, fasting — those are recommendations for finding some peace in a world that keeps us disconnected from Him. They are not requirements. P.S. Hot take, but I actually think God's mercy will extend to all of us; however, we will all stand before the creator on the day.
