Hello lovely people, welcome to the ORIGINAL brains behind 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 socials in Denmark - dedicated to sparking meaningful connections through meaningful conversations.
We often hear how challenging it can be to make friends in Denmark or a new city, specially as an adult, and how beneficial it can be to ones mental wellbeing to develop meaningful connections.

At the same time, while networking events are great, going from one event to another engaging in small talk, repeatedly responding to 'where are you from?', 'so, how long have you been here?', can often leaves us craving to go beyond that, and wanting to dive into deep conversations that stimulate your heart, mind and soul.

Other people may find themselves having to rebuild their network after old friends moved away or moved on to different life phases that no longer align.

𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲?

If so, then 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗠𝗲 is the place for you! As an international myself, who has lived in five different countries, I totally get it. This is why I am motivated to bring people together to connect through a carefully curated and thoughtfully designed evening dedicated solely to meaningful conversations that go beyond the small talk, that inspire you, challenge your perspective and bring out the authentic you...all in a hyggelige, non-intimidating setting - suited to both introverts and extroverts.

We sure like to do things differently. Authentic You Me didn't just come up with a new format that challenges conventional norm, we came up with a brand new name for it, too: Slow Friending Socials.

*You will be assigned to small, rotational conversation groups - a format unique to Authentic You Me
*You will get to meet and engage with like-minded people in carefully designed, meaningful ways
*You will get to practice active listening, empathy and good conversational skills
*You will get to walk away with new found friendships
*You will get to take away life skills that may help improve your relationships: in friendships, romance, or work
