This is more than a self-care workshop, it’s a quiet act of rebellion.
A tender, embodied space for women and AFAB folks to unlearn the inherited scripts of body shame, fatphobia, and misogyny that have shaped how we see ourselves. Together, we will remember what it means to live in our bodies, not against them, to reclaim the ground of self-worth, power, and belonging that was never meant to be taken from us.
In this three-hour experiential gathering, we weave somatic therapy, mindful movement, and compassionate dialogue to explore the emotional and cultural roots of body image distress.
Through guided inquiry, creative ritual, and collective witnessing, we begin to release the internalised narratives that tell us our bodies must be smaller, smoother, more contained, and come home to the truth of our wholeness.
What to Expect
- A brave, supportive circle of femmes held with radical compassion, consent, and confidentiality.
- Somatic explorations that invite you to meet your body as she is today, no fixing, no hierarchy of “good” bodies.
- Truth-telling and inquiry into the roots of internalised fatphobia, diet culture, and body dysmorphia.
- Community witnessing to dissolve shame through shared story and solidarity.
- Creative and ritual practices to reimagine your body as sacred, sovereign, and deeply wise.
- Integration and closing with practices to anchor acceptance, gentleness, and embodied resistance.
This space invites you to turn toward your body, in all her shapes, hungers, scars, and stories, and to say: you belong.

About your Facilitator
Daniela Grace is a somatic psychotherapist and registered counsellor who offers individual and couples therapy.
Her work weaves body-based wisdom with psychological insight to support deep trauma healing, emotional growth, and relationship transformation.
With a mindful, heart-centred approach, Daniela guides her clients toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and authentic connection.
Daniela is available for in-person sessions at Kundalini House in North Fitzroy and online.
