Come Hell or High Water: Voting in the Wake of Natural Disasters and Major Disruptions is a multi-event series by Vet the Vote, bringing together election officials, veterans’ organizations, and community leaders to explore how elections are administered during and after major crises. We will feature local election officials discussing disaster preparedness and response during Hurricane Helene in Asheville, North Carolina.
We aim to showcase and honor the resilience of North Carolinians and the hardworking people that supported the 2024 election despite extreme hardship. Enjoy the evening with people who celebrate civics, community, and are excited to learn more about how elections work - even in extreme circumstances.
