Bringing a little bit of Christmas to communities in Western North Carolina that were affected by Hurricane Helene.In the spirit of Operation Shoebox, we are joining together to bring Christmas to the mountains.
Now through December 19th we are collecting items (suggested list will be posted through the photots) to put in shoeboxes to send up the mountain.
We will accept loose items but prefer if they are pre-packaged in a shoeboxes or something of similar size.
We will have drop stations in legions and local businesses across the area collecting donations and we will pick them up on the 21st, delivering them on the 22nd.
We are also holding a coat drive -accepting new and gently used coats.
We are also accepting blankets, scarves, gloves and hats.
