The Benzie County Players proudly present Come From Away, coming to the Garden Theater September 11–14 for the Garden's very first musical performance!
Based on an incredible true story, Come From Away follows the residents of Gander, Newfoundland, in the days following the September 11 attacks. When 38 planes carrying nearly 7,000 passengers were unexpectedly diverted to Gander International Airport, the small community came together to welcome, feed, house, and care for thousands of stranded travelers.
Featuring characters inspired by real Gander residents and passengers, this acclaimed Broadway musical is a moving, uplifting story about kindness, connection, and the extraordinary things ordinary people can do during uncertain times.
