You must be 20 years old or older to audition. We encourage actors of all ethnicities to audition. We are committed to casting a group of actors that accurately reflects our community. Actors of all sizes, shapes, race, gender, and ability will be considered.
For the vocal audition, please come prepared with sheet music to sing approximately one verse or one chorus of a song similar in style to the show. An accompanist will be provided for you. Bring sheet music. If you are invited to attend the callbacks, we will provide sides and music cuts for you to sing.

9/11/2001…38 airplanes, 6,579 stranded passengers from 100 countries, 1 small town in Newfoundland. COME FROM AWAY is based on the true story of the time when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland, played host to the world. What started as an average day in a small town turned into an international sleepover, when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from around the globe, were diverted to Gander’s airstrip on September 11, 2001. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered the stranded travelers with music, an open bar, and the recognition that we’re all part of a global family.
