As the world marks the 25th anniversary of the events of September 11, LSPA is honored to present one of the first community theater productions of this internationally acclaimed musical. With performance rights available to only a limited number of theaters, this is a rare opportunity to experience Come From Away live on our stage.
When 38 planes are unexpectedly grounded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, following the events of September 11, 2001, nearly 7,000 stranded passengers find themselves welcomed by a community of just 9,000 residents. What begins as an unimaginable tragedy becomes an unforgettable story of kindness, compassion, resilience, and the extraordinary connections that remind us of our shared humanity.
Winner of multiple Tony Awards and celebrated around the globe, Come From Away is an uplifting musical filled with heart, humor, and a soaring score that audiences won't soon forget.
