Come Away Silent Retreat led by Cathy AJ Hardy

Come Away is a retreat for both women and men. Intentionally small with room for up to eight participants, this retreat is designed to enable you to find sacred space for rest and reflection, renewal and restoration. You will be guided into silence over 4 days and 3 nights. Invited to experience the still, small voice of God loving you. Two private spiritual direction sessions are included. Cathy will be facilitating this journey of deep, profound silence.

A word from Cathy…..’my first silent retreat was 23 years ago…It was a gift I wasn’t sure I wanted. Someone paid for me to go and so I went. I was tentative. Unsure. Not used to this degree of stillness and silence and there was a degree of fear and apprehension. What happened for me during those 3 days became some of the most profound treasure I am still gleaning from today. To open myself up to the Presence of Love in such vulnerable stillness was life-changing and has fueled my passion in leading retreats for the past 16 years as I want to share this experience with others.

Date: Nov. 20 - 23, 2025

Times: 6:00 pm Thursday eve to 12:00, noon on Sunday

Cost: $475 + GST. This includes retreat facilitation, Eventbrite fees, and dinners on Friday and Saturday night. Please note that this does not include the accommodation and some meals. Retreatants will need to provide their own breakfasts, lunches and snacks. Each of the rooms at the Mark Centre has the small fridge, coffee maker, kettle, and a few kitchen utensils.

Once you have booked and paid for the retreat, you can Contact the Mark Centre(www.markcentre.org) to pay for your accommodation. The Mark Centre is offering a pay-what-you-can plan. More information on payment is made available when you connect with the Mark Centre.

Refunds: All retreat bookings are final with $100 of the fees being non-refundable due to our costs and the nature of our planning. As well, no refunds will be available after November 1, 2025.
