Come As You Are: A Love Letter in Bloom

We host a monthly Community Safe Space Workshop called Come As You Are (CAYA) — a place where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment. Each month, we explore a different theme. This May, we're doing something a little different.

In partnership with floral artist Arlene Levitt (@arlene.levitt), we're inviting you to slow down, reflect, and express something that doesn't always get said — through the art of floral arrangement.

A Love Letter in Bloom is part workshop, part creative experience. You'll design your own floral arrangement as an act of intention — for your mom, someone who matters deeply to you, or even for yourself. Because love isn't just something we feel. Sometimes it's something we make.

Each flower color has been intentionally chosen to align with a chakra — an energy center that reflects where you are emotionally right now. You'll choose 3 flowers from 4 available colors, plus greenery to complete your arrangement. Your choices are yours to make — there's no wrong answer.

🔴 Red → Root Chakra: "This one's for the person who has always been my foundation."

🟠 Orange → Sacral Chakra: "This one's for the love that's complicated, layered, and still worth celebrating."

🌸 Dark Pink → Heart Chakra: "This one's for me — because I deserve to receive love too."

💜 Purple → Crown Chakra: "This one's for someone I carry with me, even when they're not here."

To finish your arrangement, you'll choose your wrapping paper, pick a ribbon, and write a handwritten note on a card — addressed to your mom, someone who means the world to you, or yourself. Because sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is put it in writing.

This isn't just a flower workshop. It's a moment to pause in a world that rarely slows down, to reconnect with what (and who) you value, and to walk away with something beautiful — inside and out.
