Come As You Are: A Creative Writing Collective

Join us in person for Come As You Are, a gathering for anyone. Whether you're a seasoned writer, life long journaler, just love playing with words, or brand new to the idea- this collective is your space to share, create, and connect with fellow humans.

No pressure, just a space for exploration. Bring that idea from 8th grade Science about the alien screen play, your rants from 2 am, your grocery list, or just yourself. We will read a little, write a little, and generate ideas, together.

Our world could use a bit less consumption and much more creation.

Jennifer Pavone is the owner of Duke's SoulSpace LLC, as well as a Humanities Coach within the Rochester City School District. Her previous roles have included Syracuse University Project Advance Creative Writing Instructor, English Teacher, Literacy Specialist, and Librarian.

Having served clients from Los Angeles, California to Rochester, New York, Jennifer seeks inspiration for her work and life through nature. She lives in a hobbit hole in Western NY with her two children, countless squirrels, and deer.
