Join us at this free event to celebrate the Summer Reading Challenge

Come and try Violin & Cello at Leamington Library

Based on the book “Ada’s Violin”, come along to this workshop and have a go at playing the violin or cello! Explore the instrument, learn the notes, and discover new sounds! This is the perfect opportunity to explore learning a musical instrument

Delivered by tutors from Warwickshire Music

These sessions are for:

• A fun, hands-on introduction to musical instruments, helping participants explore violin or cello, learn basic notes, and discover different sounds.
• A creative workshop inspired by Ada’s Violin, offering a chance to build confidence and interest in music with guidance from expert Warwickshire Music tutors.
• Inspiring and supporting children with their Summer Reading Challenge journey.

Time: 1pm

Date: Tuesday 18th August 2026

Age: 7-11-year-olds. Please note: children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
