Colwick 8 is back for 2024!Our annual distance swim event offers WholeHealth members the opportunity to swim the distance of one of the iconic Lake District stretches of water:
Grasmere 1.6 km -- £10*
Buttermere 2.0 km --£12*
Ennerdale 3.8 km --£15*
Derwent 4.6 km --£17*
Haweswater 6.9 km --£20*
Coniston 8.7 km --£30*
Ullswater 11.8 km --£40*
Windermere 16.8 km --£50*
The event will commence at 7am on the Sunday morning and swimmers have until midday to swim their chosen lake.
That’s up to 6 hours of swimming time to “swim your lake.”
Just decide what lake you would like to swim based on your Endurance ----Speed ----Motivation!
To enter, make sure you have enough credits to swim your lake. *price depends on your membership type
You'll receive all joining details and info nearer the time.
This is going to be an awesome WholeHealth event with our usual inclusive, friendly vibe, music, rewards and celebration of your achievements. Join us for a fun event to motivate your training in this season Open Water Swimming.
