10 teams= 1st- $1000
9 teams= 1st- $840
8 teams= 1st- $680
7 teams= 1st- $500
6 teams= 1st- $320
Check-in/arrival:
- cost= $160/team
- gym is separate building behind actual church (down the hill a bit)
-check-in: 810-830
-players meeting: 830-840
-warmups 840-855
-play start by 9
Tournament Rules:
-2 guys, 2 girls
- men no attacking or blocking in front of 10ft
- CAN redirect or "swipe" block
- block does NOT count as touch
- can open hand recieve serve
- essentially indoor rules EXCEPTION open hand tip on attack over net
- if you set over, you have to be square to your target
Tournament format:
***MUST BE OUT OF GYM BY 4pm NO MATTER WHAT***
- 4 team pools= 2 games to 18, cap 20
- 5 team pools= 2 games to 15, cap 17
- Top 4 top playoffs
- after warmups for first match, please limit warmups
- Playoffs
*quarters= 1 to 25
*semis start before 130pm = match
*semis start after 130pm = 1 to 25
*finals= best of 3 (21, 21, 15) **AS LONG AS STARTING BY 3PM**
Gym Rules:
- ABSOLUTELY no alcohol
- no food or drink on court surface
- no upstairs
