The Missouri Prairie Foundation will hold a native plant sale on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at the Bass Pro Shops Sportsman’s Center®, 3101 Bass Pro Drive, Columbia, MO 65202 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Native plants beautify landscapes and help support songbirds and other cherished wildlife. Buy native wildflowers, grasses, shrubs, trees, vines, and sedges from Grow Native! professional members. Some vendors accept cash, check, or credit cards; some only cash or checks.
Vendors: Gaylena’s Garden, Missouri Wildflowers Nursery, Grindstone Wildflowers (SunRise Gardens), and Hawthorn Chapter MONPS
Shoppers can stroll through the sale and purchase plants from each vendor. Shoppers can also pre-order plants and have their orders ready for pick up at the event. The following vendors are accepting pre-orders. When placing your pre-orders, please include your phone number and note that the order is for the Columbia Bass Pro Shops Sportsman’s Center® on May 17:
Missouri Wildflowers Nursery- Order by calling 573-496-3492, by email at [email protected], or via website. Orders must be placed no later than midnight on May 13. See http://mowildflowers.net for a plant list.
Some vendors accept cash, check, or credit cards; some only cash or checks. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own crates or boxes for transporting their purchased plants home. Volunteers will be available to load plants into vehicles for those needing assistance.
